HEIC to JPG

Convert HEIC photos to JPG in browsers that can natively decode the selected file.

Safari 17 added HEIC support, but availability depends on the OS and file. Support is checked by actual decoding. Chrome/Windows and other environments cannot convert if native decoding fails.

Up to 5 photos, 20 MiB and 24 megapixels each. One at a time; primary still image only. HDR, depth, Live Photo and original metadata are not preserved.

    How to use

    1. Choose HEIC photos
    2. Convert to JPG
    3. Check orientation, colors and detail against the original, then save and reopen the JPG. Photos may supply a JPG instead of the original HEIC; use Files if this happens.
