How is the password applied?

Only when you start the task, a qpdf-based WebAssembly engine loads in a separate Worker and applies an AES-256 open password. The original stays unchanged and a new file is downloaded.

  • Encrypted and digitally signed PDFs are not processed.
  • Password removal, recovery, and password finding are not provided.
  • For important documents, open the result and check its pages and links yourself.
